Create Large-Scale, Gallery-Ready Geode Art
Ready to take geode resin art beyond a workshop project?
Our Two-Day Professional Geode Experience is an immersive 6-hour, hands-on experience designed for those who want to understand the complete process of creating a large-scale, professionally finished geode artwork.
Unlike our Signature Geode Workshop, this experience focuses on creating a statement-size piece designed to be displayed in your home.
Your artwork begins at approximately 2 ft × 3 ft minimum, giving you the space to explore dramatic movement, crystal formations, texture, depth and beautiful color transitions.
What Makes the Two-Day Experience Different?
Over two sessions, you will learn the geode process step by step—from initial design through the final resin layers.
You’ll learn how to:
Plan the composition of a large geode artwork
Select and coordinate a sophisticated color palette
Create natural-looking geode movement and formations
Build dimensional crystal and stone sections
Work with crushed glass, specialty stones and crystal accents
Layer metallic pigments, shimmer and resin
Create depth rather than a flat resin design
Develop flowing geode lines and transitions
Balance color, texture and negative space across a large piece
Understand the finishing process that gives professional geode art its polished appearance
The goal is not simply to make a geode.
It is to create a statement piece—the kind of artwork that makes guests stop, look closer, and ask, “Where did you get that?”
After Day Two — We Finish Your Artwork
Once your second session is complete, your artwork stays with HuesbyLats for professional finishing.
We will:
Allow the artwork to cure properly
Apply the final clear resin coat
Complete finishing details
Install appropriate hanging hardware
Your finished artwork will then be ready to display in your home.
Optional Floating Frame
For an even more elevated, gallery-style presentation, you may choose to add a custom floating frame to your finished geode artwork.
Floating frames create a small reveal around the artwork, giving the finished piece a beautiful architectural presence while allowing the geode itself to remain the focus.
The floating frame is optional and does not need to be selected when you book your experience.
We can show you the available wood species, finishes, frame profiles and pricing during your session so you can see what complements your completed design.
